The women in our families, such as grandmothers and mothers, used to treasure meaningful moments in albums that told our stories. But what happens when there are no nostalgic images to keep? I chose not to be a mother, and yet, in my later reproductive years, a curiosity arises.

As I explore parallels between my life and that of other women, through the photos in our albums, I ask myself: what events in my life deserve to be remembered? Have I felt a desire to be a mother? This project becomes a dialogue through images, questioning whether there is an innate longing to procreate and care for another being, or whether, by prioritizing other goals, I have set that desire aside.
