That questions our concept of identity and force us to question where one organism ends and another begins.

All life forms are processes, not things.

Understanding of the self only arises in relationship, in watching yourself in relationship to people, ideas, and things; to trees, the earth, and the world around you and within you. Relationship is the mirror in which the self is revealed. Without self-knowledge there is no basis for right thought and action.

This universality is no longer political, logical, economic or social: it is the unity of the flesh of all the living of the world, in all their vulnerability.

intimacy is rare and precoius, and it’s something you can never fake.
