I walked around Boston for a few days asking to take photographs of peoples tattoos. By that point I didn't have any so it was an exercise in mustering up the courage to get my own.
I walked around Boston for a few days asking to take photographs of peoples tattoos. By that point I didn't have any so it was an exercise in mustering up the courage to get my own.
Far too often, People photograph each others tattoos in search of a conversation behind the purpose of the inking. Is there meaning? Is it just about the process?
I think I just wanted to get myself into a headspace where I did not give too much thought to the fact that I wanted to do that to myself. Not everything needed to be purposeful, planned, executed with precision.
