TROPICS & TRADITIONS takes us into the depths of the world's largest island nation. Captivating images of archaic traditions in remote villages meet the natural beauty of untouched landscapes. The hustle and bustle of the city meets the solitude of hidden islands. Living together with indigenous peoples turns strangers into intimates. Majestic landscapes become the backdrop for encounters with man and nature. The unique view through the camera explores the multifaceted soul of Indonesia in an unprecedented aesthetic. At the same time, the documentary character of the photography preserves the unique treasures of the archipelago's largely secret culture.
