Day-to-day and emotional universe of my own reality and shows in a documentary way the daily life of my family and the coexistence between generations: babies, children, adults, elderly, twins and people with Syndrome Down.

The look over the rhythm of human life is launched over a real everyday mixed with the imaginary, forming thus a mosaic of affections suspended on the time that propose the human reflexion about life, beauty, similarity, diference and affection. Developed experience of photographic practice documenting the daily life and the intimacy of the home. Here I present my own story and that of my family members.

The project is about life and also about the existence of this diverse family group.

At home, uncle Carlão came to pose for me in the garden.The image shows my uncle Carlão, who is a man with Down Syndrome, holding a mirror that reflects the crown of a tree and the sky.

I photograph Tio Carlão while he is on the drums, with my left hand I hold a mirror and duplicate Carlão's face.

It's the first time my niece Mel has come home. She was born 25 days ago and came to meet her great uncles Toninho and Carlão..Spontaneous photo of a family moment.

Uncle Toninho looks at me, my brother Taere and Uncle Carlao are having coffee in the background.

The photo is posed, I asked Uncle Toninho to hold the mirror, his attitude is spontaneous.

My father and brother have a tender moment. I take advantage of the reflection of light the coffee maker generates to cast it on them.

Carlão holds a mirror for me and I pose for a self-portrait.Carlão was sitting in the living room armchair as usual. I was experimenting with producing images with a rectangular mirror and asked him to hold the mirror

Uncle Toninho is waiting for a good morning hug. My parents in the background in the morning light. This image is important because it is the last photo of Uncle Toninho in life.

I noticed the beauty of the light coming through the window.My mother and brother agreed to pose. Seeing them in the frame, wrapped in a hug with the soft light on their face, I entered the scene with the help of automatic camera shooting. Hug cloudy day

My mother harvests basil and separates the leaves to make a pesto sauce.My daughter Liz stares at me from the table. Uncle Carlão appears at the door.
