The project explores the nature of time and the way it shapes our perception of memory, an unstable structure that accumulates in layers. Time is not a simple succession of instants, but the dimension in which human beings exist and confront themselves and what they lose; it does not merely “pass,” but happens to us. What remains is a set of partial images, in which what once appeared tangible suddenly becomes fragile. When do we realize that everything has changed, without knowing exactly how?We live projected toward future possibilities that are continuously re-signified by the experiences we have lived and by what we remember. To the End, to the Other thus becomes a journey through the transformations of time and their effects on our ability to recognize what belongs to us. The project invites us to consider how much of the present will manage to survive and in what form and how much has already, inevitably, faded away.
