TIME MOVES PLACE MOVES MIND MOVES

The Theme for the September 2022 PhotoFestival at the Ph Museum, Bologna refers to Time. Today that was Yesterday's Tomorrow. Therefore Motion. Motion not only from one moment to another, but implicitly Change that occurs with movement from one date to another, from one place to another, from one thought to another, from one event to another as implied in my submitted photo series where motion is registered not only in for instance water which, through motion creates the suggestion of two figures joined by am umbilical cord. The cord suggests birth and new life. The image, titled THIRST, consists of desert pebbles, water condensing on a window, and the faceless head and shoulders of a person. Climate change and the devastating effect on human life that will be wiped out in our Tomorrow. Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow in one image. In OPHELIA RISING/SINKING the obliterated face of THIRST is back.

The image reflects the order between TODAY YESTERDAY and TOMORROW.

Do we as humans have the power to decide how TOMORROW after TODAY will pan out? At least we have the choice between interpreting our situation as Positive (Ophelia Rising) or Negative (Ophelia Sinking drowning as Shakespeare describes in Hamlet.
