They are not afraid of riding stallions

This project focuses on Achraf, whom photographer Sophie Ebrard has known since he was eight years old. She returned to Morocco this year to explore Achraf's relationship with his horses and to document his life as a new adult.

Sophie Ebrard is a photographer who is dedicated to exploring the complexities of humanity through her work. She uses her camera to capture intimate and honest moments that reveal the beauty, struggles, and diversity of human experiences.

This on-going project focuses on her friend Achraf, whom she had known since he was eight years old. She returned to Morocco to explore Achraf's relationship with his horses, their friendship, and to document his life as an adult. Rather than following a set schedule or routine, Ebrard relied on her intuition to guide her through the project. She wanted to discover the unique qualities of Achraf's character and to capture the beauty of his life in every corner.

This project is just one example of Ebrard's dedication to researching humanity.

She is drawn to people and their stories, whether it's her own experiences as a mother (“I Didn’t Want to Be a Mum”) or her investigations into the world of pornography (“It’s Just Love”); through her work, Ebrard seeks to uncover the truth and to reveal the complexities of human existence.
