The presented series plays with conceptions of reality. Sometimes offering vibrant portraits of one's essence, the line dwells on some clair-obscur when the photos spin on the thread of the unspoken. If the portraits reveal a deceptive intimacy, the landscapes stretch between ethereal and the spectator's imagination. While being offered a sequenced understanding of the unspoken, one is left with its own perception and senses.

The study of the project can be done along three sequences, all running along the metaphor of water, the first part presents portraits in a filtered manner, with a quasi-immediate and yet touching accessibility. The second theme touches on intimacy, with more blurred and intense portraits, sometimes playing on dual moments. Finally, the third series, delimited by the troubled water, focuses on details. By lingering on parts of the body, or offbeat moments, the eye stops on the inexpressible. The metaphor spun by the water thus structures the perception of the intimacy.
