Maybe it’s a maternal instinct to be a nurturer, to give so much of yourself to something that will drift apart from you, and maybe it’s not. Maybe it’s about planting a seed and letting nature do what it always does.

The nurturer holds onto her eggs, a bit fragile, as she wanders around hoping to find the best environment to raise a new life. An egg, a baby, a seed: they all represent hope. Perhaps a new life or a fresh start. The cycle of life cannot proceed without any of them. Without hope, we can’t move forward. We get stuck within the cycle. This means sacrifice. An offering has to be done. A new life can only flourish if there is enough time spent delicate hands holding it. Love, effort and care is put into new beginnings. Or else, it can easily crumble, and we would be back where we started. Maybe it’s a maternal instinct to give so much of yourself to something that will drift apart from you eventually, and maybe it’s not. Maybe it’s about planting a seed and letting nature do what it always does. Whatever this new life is, one must be very careful, it’s very fragile.
