Vanessa Fengler’s work The Female Perspective explores the diverse realities of women* and female-read individuals. The work engages on multiple levels with societal structures, including everyday sexualization, socialization, beauty ideals and trends, as well as daily dangers and threats.

In doing so, Vanessa Fengler raises central questions about the different lived realities in comparison to male-read individuals. Her work is conceived both as a critical reflection and as a space that draws attention to issues often overlooked or unheard in public discourse. It is an artistic representation and an attempt to make tangible what women* experience.

The Female Perspective makes the invisible visible and invites the audience to question socially shaped perceptions, with the aim of strengthening marginalized perspectives and opening up new spaces for thought.
