Terms of Use is an ongoing lens-based media project in which I elicit user response on social media.
I have been collecting these temporal images through screenshots since 2020. These images are the in-between moments in which Instagram signals processing through momentarily blurry state and the imposed translucent circle. I question why we choose to wait when the form is often decipherable. The captured images are then posted back onto the platform giving it a place of permeance and a space to test users willingness to wait. Provoking the user's impulse to touch the image beneath the glass as if it would aid in its struggle.
