Inspired by the work of British artist Alison Jackson and making use of artificial intelligence, I created portraits of great political leaders alone, away from the spotlight. These figures, throughout their careers, have assumed roles of political authority and through their choices have shaped and in some cases subjugated the destiny of entire populations; while the role they play requires them to be impenetrable, cold and resolute, Tear-anny challenges this conventional representation.
The images suggest a potential inner conflict due to the weight of decisions taken and which, at some point, in a play of parts, they have to defend at all costs (due to obtuseness or even pressure), but they also symbolise the consequences caused by the same decisions.
