SVEGLI IN ATTESA DEL SOGNO

Our society drifts through a waking fever dream. We’re constantly reassured that everything is fine—that progress is being made, that we're living our best lives. But beneath the surface, something feels off.

There’s a strange sense of unreality, as if we’re caught in a loop—awake, yet still waiting for the dream to begin. We navigate spaces that feel hollow and oddly familiar, their forms repeating endlessly, disconnected from time or purpose.

This project explores that unsettling tension through the lens of the author's phone's camera. Using the most ubiquitous and mundane tool of modern life, the author captures fleeting glimpses of the world beneath the surface— spaces, scenes, and moments that echo with the quiet hum of something not quite right. The phone becomes both an extension of perception and a means of documenting the liminal spaces we pass through but rarely see.

These images are meant to mirror the dissonance we feel, and perhaps to bring us one step closer to understanding the strange dream we're all trapped in.
