What does it last? And for how long?

“All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt.”
― Susan Sontag

What does it last? And for how long?

I decided to become a photographer, an artist in the first place, to alleviate the suffering given by the awareness of existence and its limited duration.

This project, made of unstaged pictures collected in different times and places, points out some of the questions and reflections that have characterized my entire life, constantly looking for a path to follow without knowing neither the right direction nor the time available.
