'Siesta' began as an exploration of memory, identity ties, and photography narratives possibilities. The project is based on a collaborative photographic journey with my family at siesta (nap) time.

The images that compose the photographic essay 'Siesta', are based on a personal journey (not always comfortable) of discontinuous visits to my family in Córdoba, Argentina. A collaborative process of making images at siesta (nap) time. Collecting, recreating and speculating with a visual inventory of unwritten stories, memories and silences in an always incomplete photo album. All this ended up becoming a book, a playful, enigmatic and experimental space to navigate through the gaps in personal history.
