This analogue series explores the textures of the water, focusing on the smallest details of its materiality.

From the closest little shine on the ancient ice to a withdrawn peak covered in frozen fog, the viewer will distinguish water in all its forms. The scale is expressed subtly and revealed to the audience in a rather delicate way, melting images of different formats into one unique choreography.

The photos were taken with two different analogue cameras:

  • 1.- 35mm Nikon N70

  • 2.- 120mm Rolleicord K3E

The chosen technique was to pick the exposure pair using the spotted photometer on the N70 and translate it to the Rollei. This way and using the same film on both cameras, detail was ensured on each device.

None of the exposed images have been altered after developing.
