Own Your Piece Of The Sky

An ongoing visual research project into my own neighbourhood, showing the ever-changing landscape caused by the endless building sites that change the urban landscape.

In ‘Own your piece of the sky’ Jesper shows fragments of buildings, construction machinery and various architectural vestiges. These spatial elements of concrete, brick and glass occupy the streets and skies of the new cities, and change the familiar city landscape forever. He appropriates these fragments and explores new ways to reinterpret them in the spaces in which they were made, creating an almost utopian world, utilising the visual cues realtors use to seduce us.
