The project Our wild lives is part of a poetic reflection on the vulnerability of existence. Through a sensitive staging of the living world, the series creates an intimate dialogue between bodies—human and animal—and the elements of nature.
In this dreamlike universe, the body seems to dissolve into the materials of the world (stone, foliage, cloud, water), until it becomes one with them. Beneath this merging lies a quiet sense of longing—a yearning for connection, for belonging within a larger, more ancient order of life.
The figure is not seen as an isolated subject, but as a medium of expression in its own right, conveying a non-verbal language rooted in texture, gesture, and transformation. From this perspective, Our wild lives opens a liminal space where the human being, far from exercising control over nature, becomes available to its otherness, to its quiet yet insistent presence—and, in doing so, accesses an expanded awareness of their own condition within the living. This longing, both subtle and persistent, underpins the desire to reconnect with what has been lost or forgotten in our relationship with the natural world.
