This conceptual photography project explores the emotional impact of the Sudanese conflict since April 2023 , through surreal outtakes to visualize themes of loss , displacement , and finding new settlement .

On War and Displacement is a conceptual photography project on emotional and social landscapes caused by conflict and displacement due to the raging war in Sudan-a war that has devastated and grossly displaced people on a huge scale .
In my work, I intend to explore intangible wounds and complex identities and situations resulting from such traumatic experiences through surreal and imaginative photographs . I recognized the urgent need to capture the raw emotions that engulfed us by employing dreamlike visuals and metaphors to provide a pathway to the viewers to delve into the intangible aspects of these crises from a perspective of someone hasn't witness this war but has been affected as well as many others .
The colorful cones are abstractly symbolize my family, friends, and myself. Despite being displaced from the war zones in Sudan, I managed to find a way to convey the emotional tapestry woven into the psychological space of the communities and individuals  affected . This continuous photography series illuminates the emotional aftermath and resilience of those who are impacted . It stands as a testament to the emotional landscapes of the human spirit and its ability to endure, rebuild, and maintain connections amidst adversity despite missing homes and land .
It's a very personal and collective project , born out of the stories of all those who suffered from the war, mainly the scars that remained . This is a visual narrative that transcends the documentary approach-it's much more conceptual and metaphorical about displacement .
