"On tiptoe? No go!" takes a colorful and humorous look at my journey full of pain and challenges, due to a long list of foot injuries.

On tiptoe? No go!

How high can you stack objects until they fall over? Without any fixation and without any tricks?

I assembled fragile sculptures from ribbons, balls, bandages and massage tools used in physical therapy to stabilize injured body parts.

Due to a long list of foot injuries, I faced huge challenges as a photographer and yoga teacher during the covid 19 pandemic. Walking? Forbidden and nearly impossible! Cycling? Not allowed! Jumping? Still strictly prohibited! And standing on tiptoe? Also forbidden, for sure!

I was accompanied by pain and insecurity and surrounded by really curious, incredibly colorful materials that almost look like children's toys.

For my series "On tiptoe? No go!" I used them to take a colorful and humorous look at my own vulnerability.
