After ten years apart, cousins reunite—where joy meets the quiet weight of societal expectations.

The photo series Moon Festival documents moments after a family celebration, during which differing opinions and tensions between family members became apparent during the communal meal during the day. After ten years of living in different countries, the three cousins Jiajia, Malika, and Lina (photographer) spend their first evening together.
