Something about innocence.

I'm not good at creating things from nothing. I take pictures and spend a lot of time with them. At some point I felt like these images had to do something with innocence. The more I looked at them looking back at me the more it seemed about the lack of it. The more I thought about innocence the less it seemed tangible. Perhaps there are moments where we regain it but most of the time it doesn’t seem to last too long. We are constantly stripped out of it. There are some people who, instead of sharpening up and building another wall, relentlessly pierce it up together every time and I think that's beautiful and precious. Maybe it's not about the innocence we're wrapped in when we are born, but the one we keep searching for.
