These photographs are part of an ongoing series of photographing mannequins in stores, windows and anywhere else I come across them.

In a strange way, mannequins hold the emotional mirror to the dreams and virtues of parts of society. Their life like similarity to humans is surreal and while they look to become a part of humanity, there is a sense of longing and sadness knowing that they will never achieve becoming human.
