Lost Metal Souls is an ongoing photographic series that grew out of my increasing fascination with the quiet, overlooked elements of the street. Whenever I encounter an abandoned car, I find myself wondering why its journey ended there. Perhaps its owner has left the city and will not return for a long time. Perhaps they are no longer able to drive. Or perhaps a group of young people bought what was once a legendary car, only to discover that restoring it costs far more than they expected. There are countless possible stories.

For me, some cars have always seemed to possess a soul. They were once faithful companions through journeys, celebrations, difficulties, and ordinary days. Now they remain where they were left, slowly becoming part of the landscape and collecting the dust of time.
