Human outposts and borders in relation with earth critical places

Merzouga, Morocco 11/2017. Last city before big dunes of Erg Chebbi considered the gate to Sahara desert in north Africa. Ten kilometers to Algerian state border. In summer it's a touristic and caotic place. In winter it's a ghost city, a symbolic place between human isolation and desert life.

This project is a part of a big documentary on human outposts and borders in relation with earth critical places.

Cameras: iPhone SE and Fujifilm x100t
