The project is a search for physical and mental calm, finding a balance, struggling between light and dark, accepting the absurdity of life.

This work starts by taking a cue from the essay by A.Camus, the myth of Sisyphus, a character from Greek mythology who challenged the gods, death and was condemned to the underworld to push for eternity a huge boulder on the slope of a mountain, from which once he reached the top, it rolled inexorably downstream, forcing him to start the useless undertaking all over again, without ever running out.

The absurd is the lucid reason that accepts its limits, that spasmodic intention to seek meaning in one's efforts, explaining itself between the repetition of actions without result, tending to the alienation of the human being and the value of a gesture as an end in itself himself in a process without conclusion, but also without resignation. A divorce between the spirit that desires and the world that disappoints.

The photographs follow one another like a wave, in search, albeit difficult, of a constant balance, moments of calm, where, aware of an undeniable destiny, we continue erratically in the struggle towards our personal research, aimed at making our progress day by day, remaining indifferent. and imperturbable in front of that feeling of anguish caused by an existential emptiness.
