The eighth is the number of the building where the day department of the regional psychoneurological hospital is located. In september 2020 I made an appointment with the head of the department to confirm the diagnosis, walked around the territory for a long time looking for the right building and a name for the project came to mind.

Idea and method:

• recall emotionally charged and haunting situations from childhood and adolescence.

• recreate images, objects and spaces in reality in as much detail as possible, be alone with them in a safe space, feel the emotions and states that arise, and critically comprehend this experience.

• the visual language reflects the vividness, absurdity and obsession of memories and introjects, the dry and unpoetic text describes the author's detached position and balances the visual overload of images.
