You should not try to dance better than everyone else. You should dance better than yourself.
This project tells about the backstage of ballet.
The music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky always inspired me, and, in many ways, had been a trigger for my desire to create a project about ballet. All his music is some transcendent expression of the soul in its best sense. The idea of realizing this job exactly in the year of his anniversary seemed symbolic and completely captivated me. This project touches the acute questions of big dreams, determination and great competition among women in this world.
I wanted my audience to think of difficulties and mightiness of this art, the hard-working that precedes the joyful scene of dance, which we all love so much and which seems so easy and amusing.
Real art requires steady and daily work throughout life, and the life of each artist is primarily devoted to his work. So the life of these ballerinas is dedicated to their creative work, and the dream of becoming great dancers and wonderful actresses, each appearance of which on the stage gives us such great pleasure and happiness.
