I dreamed about walking in the streets in slippers

I dreamed about walking in the streets in slippers is a project about looking for more in the inside and outside worlds while being locked physically and metaphorically.

Being locked at home during the pandemic made me spend more time on the terrace. Every time I would find there something new for me: my neighbors training on the rooftop, beautiful light on a tree or a building I had never paid attention to. Such discoveries took place on a daily basis. It was intriguing and exciting to see what would show up next.

The process felt very similar to what we do on psychotherapy sessions: being limited with myself, I start to see the past in details, analyze and thus understand who I really am, what I want and why. I realized that my true self is hidden behind other people’s opinions and fears.

My mission is to find her and perhaps that day I will go out for a walk in slippers.
