Giambellino

In addition to being one of the most ethnically diverse neighbourhood, Giambellino is also the last remaining historic district of the Milanese working class. Various historical figures in the pop-criminal-TV environment have passed through these parts: Giorgio Gaber, Renato Vallanzasca, Diego Abatantuono, Gino Bramieri, Adriano Celentano and Silvio Berlusconi.

The economical earthquake caused by Expo 2015 is helping to indelibly change its socio-cultural fabric. The construction of Metro 4 ("the Blue Line") is contributing to a slow, albeit inexorable, process of gentrification, the effects of which have already passed like a tsunami, irreparably changing other areas of this Metropoli
