Bodies Between Memory and Desire

An experimental visual project exploring the fragile connections between body, memory and belonging. Through water, urban spaces and red lines, identity emerges as a shifting territory between connection, rupture and transformation.

Bodies Between Memory and Desire is an experimental visual project exploring the fragile boundaries between body, memory and belonging.

Through fragmented figures, shifting urban spaces, water and layered interventions, the work moves between intimacy and distance, presence and disappearance. The body emerges as a porous territory, shaped by invisible connections, unresolved memories and the desire to find a place in the world.

Water becomes a space of transformation, where identities dissolve and reappear. Windows, façades and architectural fragments suggest thresholds between the inner self and the outside world. Red lines and graphic gestures cross the images like traces of an invisible thread: at once a connection, a wound and an attempt to hold together what has been separated.

Moving between photography, digital experimentation and visual intervention, "Bodies Between Memory and Desire" develops a fragmented narrative in which personal experience opens onto broader questions of identity, displacement and belonging.

Rather than offering definitive answers, the project invites the viewer to inhabit a space of uncertainty, where the body becomes both the witness of memory and the possibility of transformation.
