Estate Spiaggia Sale Sole

A visual story of the Italian summer.

ESTATE SPIAGGIA SALE SOLE is a visual story about the Italian summer, made of repeated gestures, familiar objects, and suspended atmospheres.
Although the photographs were taken in recent years, they seem to belong to an undefined time. In Italy, summer moves slowly, and the details – postures, expressions, colors – appear untouched by the passing years.
I observed places, people, and quiet everyday moments with a documentary and sensitive gaze, trying to capture the stillness and continuity of this season.
All the photographs were shot on film, reinforcing the timeless feeling that runs through the series.
The result is a sequence of images where the present blends into collective memory, where time seems to have stopped under the sun.
