ERA is an attempt to give shape to our fragile present—a present marked by climate collapse, war, and constant uncertainty.

At the turn of the millennium, when my generation was just starting out, the future felt full of promise. Today, as a father of two, I see how a different future has already arrived—defined by climate collapse, war, and constant uncertainty. This era is marked by solastalgia: the future-oriented pain of losing a place you love while it still exists. Through a series of rather casual, true-to-life photographs made exclusively for this project over the past four years, I seek to hold opposing forces together—fear and hope, loss and beauty—without explanation, as a reflection of our fragile present.

The entire work consists of around 100 images. Together with a designer, I am currently working on a monograph, which is scheduled for publication in late 2026 or early 2027.
