My photo project documents my travels from the East to the West coast of the United States, captured entirely on Polaroid film. From the bustling cities of the East Coast to the otherworldly landscapes of the West, each image captures a special moment and feeling from this trip.

The use of Polaroids is meant to add a sense of nostalgia, evoking a feeling of a bygone era. The size of the film, which is Polaroid Go, (and as such smaller than a regular Polaroid,) encapsulating the enormous landscapes in the smallest frame, came with its challenges and uniqueness, while holding such vast space on the palm of the hand feels very special. The imperfections and irregularities of the polaroid film also lend a sense of intimacy and ethereal feeling to the images, making each one, one of a kind.
