Limites profundos in Portuguese language is a photographic series held in Porto Velho, city of the Brazilian Amazon. The series investigates through daily poetics the reality which we often ignore: the limits of space and urban time, their depths and their absences. It is a visual exercise to reflect the social environment and the discovery of intense, forgotten and marginalized places.

Most of the time, our urban interactions are limited to what is near and when we face images of the distant areas of the center, it is much easier not to reflect about which is before us. We see and soon forget without even understanding in a sensitive about what lies behind the border that we impose on our conscience, not taking into account the violence and social depth that are so close to the reality to which we are all inserted.
