Using human portraiture principles to photograph animals
Living in Ireland, farming and livestock are the beating heart of society. I am interested in the ideas of our relationship to farming, culture, family and heritage. For me, I am particularly interested in understanding how these concepts play out in the animal kingdom in tandem with ours, leading me to utilise the principles of portraiture to capture humanising shots of our animal counterparts
