Cherry Blossom explores burnout by placing delicate flowers in dialogue with the glowing ember of a cigarette, using beauty and decay to reflect the fragile balance between vitality, exhaustion, and self-destructive habits. Shot entirely in-camera through long exposures and light painting during late nights, the series draws from my own experience of overwork and the challenge of sustaining a creative practice alongside a day job.
