Breaking heart is the door for reborn to new yourself

Over the 6years, I've been shooting which showing inside of my heart, feeling and view of life and death. Using 35mm films, sometimes with double exposed or painting on the picture.

Living in Tokyo Japan since I've born and I see the very difficult issue of people's depression. Suicide is the leading cause of death among people in their 20s and 30s in Japan.

I feel like many of Japanese are all lost and learnt that materialism can't lead to people happy.

In Buddhism, there is a word called 'Jito-myou' which means self-light. Budda teach every people need to discover the light inside of yourself. Not rely on someone or society for your happiness. When you find the light inside of you, it' s leads to your true happiness and free in the cosmo.

To find the light inside of heart is not easy, sometimes we need to face our weakness and overcome this, but through this process we close to god day by day.

Through the picture, I want to express that everyone has beautiful god within themselves and wish one day we overcome the depression pervading society.
