Biography

Consider this project an ode to working-class people, a hymn to a simple and quiet life, a call to neorealism and pastoralism at the same time, an inner search for your own idyll.

This project was created in the period from 2010 to 2017. The monochrome photos are mostly portraits of ordinary people whom I met in a variety of places: on construction sites, in shelters for the disabled, in shipyards, or just on the street.

Most of the photos are portraits of people whose beauty I find in their profession, mood and feeling, facial expression, a subtle hint of fate and life path. Beauty is a simple thing and does not require anyone to search for complex forms. Therefore, I consider the people depicted in the photos to be beautiful and interesting only because they are so.

If you want to feel the beauty of the person depicted in the photo, just look at the photo and try to talk to the person depicted there. Try to imagine who this person is, what his name is, what he does, how his life path has developed. This is precisely the beauty and curiosity that I look for in people.
