Adrift in Song documents the patterns of wear that show up in driftwood around Washington State in the US.

Adrift in Song looks closely at the accrual of natural forces in the forms of driftwood. The Pacific Northwest is rich in its natural diversity, which makes for many species that are carried to sea then washed ashore. As the tides and sun work upon the bark and wood of the trees, the inherent structure of different parts become increasingly apparent. By photographing such phenomena closely, their great beauty is unveiled.

Begun in 2020, an initial zine of the project was released in May of 2025.
