ADHERENCES ET SIGNES INDELEBILES

Born as an inner research on the 'signs' that time and adversity have left in and on me, what was initially a personal journey has become a polyphonic project involving other people with a similar path to mine.

The images are created by composing photographs of scars on the body from as many surgeries and, photographs of serene and pleased places in one's memory, a dream-like journey back in time remembering the events and places that have made us who we are.

This work is meant to be something evocative rather than descriptive, a contribution to acceptance, to moving forward.
