This is the story about the problems of urbanization, migration and desolation everywhere on the territory of Russia. People leave their homes in small towns and abandon their belongings which are slowly mouldering and vanishing becoming unexpected components of the beautiful nature.

During the post-Soviet era the process of urbanization has become very fast and almost irreversible. Due to mistakes in economic regulations and policies the previous basement of the economy, agriculture, has been destroyed. This led to a massive migration of the people from villages and provinces to metropolises. In my travels I often see desolation of small towns and villages. Older generations are passing away, while the younger ones are leaving their homeland and looking for a better life in big cities. Abandoned houses, furniture, books, other things are slowly mouldering and vanishing becoming unexpected components of the beautiful nature... I am looking for funding for this project, which can become an interesting book. I also hope that visualization of this problem will help to draw attention to it.
