A life through the lens of war

Documenting random street photos while living in Ukraine during the war. For now, it's 2022 — ongoing.

When the war began, most things still seemed familiar, yet they no longer were. I started taking a camera with me on walks to notice and document the changes: monuments shielded from missiles, cars with bullet holes caught in the afternoon traffic, taped-up windows, and the daily routines shaped by electricity blackouts. At some point, it began to feel as if reality was worming through itself, revealing unsettling, unnatural scenes in places.
