A DYSPHORIC PROWL

These images chronicle my state of mind during the weird spell of the last two years. They are a play with the realities encountered while travelling in Europe. They expose shadows and trace blurred and oblique lines and borders at the edge-lands of an era. They reflect the increasing blur between the fake and the tangible, an impaired environment, the weight of religion and technologies. A kind of hollowness as well.

These photographs seek to create a collection of mundane-looking situations that exude a feeling of oddity. They are about inevitable endings, about what is fading— but also what is yet to fade.

Some of them are staged most are not, but disquietude, raw or in disguise, is incised in all of them.
