Day478【Rebirth】
DEAR naozo,
Did you burn
Were you stripped
Did you pay
Good
Look at what remains
Is there still
heat in the ash
The form
will not return
Do not return it
Do not call
restoring the same shape
rebirth
That is
prolongation
Rebirth
is to rise
in a different form
Build a new structure
upon what was lost
Do not use the past
as a foundation
Use it
as material
Do not erase
the burn marks
Engrave them
They become
strength
Do not become light
Lightness
breaks easily
Carry weight
Stand
with the weight you paid
Pain
is evidence
Wounds you escaped
are shallow
Wounds you accepted
are deep
Only depth
endures
A sprout
emerges quietly
Do not display
Make no noise
Rebirth
does not shout
It continues
Yesterday’s you
has ended
You ended it
So
begin
the new you
It is not residue
It is a core
reborn
Stand
Forward
In this form
