Do you see

from within

accept as truth

　

The eyes

capture images

　

But not meaning

　

The mind

creates meaning

　

But holds no image

　

What is seen

is not always true

　

What is felt

is not always false

　

Vision

is an arrangement of light

　

But perspective

is a choice

　

From within

the world

follows you

　

With the eyes

you

follow the world

　

Do you see

through inner vision

　

Or the uncertainty

replayed by the brain

　

Memory

rewrites itself

with each replay

　

Certainty

distorts

through repetition

　

And still

you believe

you saw

　

And still

you believe

you understood

　

To see

is not to receive

　

It is to cut

　

What you keep
