Overview
What did you eat today? For breakfast, lunch, dinner, in between? And yesterday? And from which place did you get the ingredients? Market, supermarket, restaurant, out of your garden? Was it fresh cooked? Was it processed?
The third edition of the Yeast Photo Festival is about asking questions. It’s about our daily food and where it comes from.
Are you aware, that your Salciccia needs to kill an animal first? Are you aware that agricultural poisons are often used to ensure the stable growth of cereals and vegetables? Are you aware that somewhere in the world people are heavily armed and fighting for the water that makes an avocado grow?
All these facts not only have an impact on our awareness of our food, but also raise social and environmental issues. This is the reason why the third Yeast Photo Festival is entitled From Planet to Plate.
