Singapore International Photography Festival 2024

The Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) is a biennial gathering of minds from around the world with the common pursuit of advancing the art and appreciation of photography.

Overview

The Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) aims to be a much-needed arena for critical thought and academic discussion on photography in Southeast Asia. The SIPF will also function as a key platform to discover, nurture and propel Southeast Asian photographers onto the international stage. Through its associate programmes, the festival hopes to engage the public and cultivate a larger audience. At the core of SIPF is a firm belief that photography can be enjoyed by all.

Among the exhibited artists are Anna Guseva, Santiago Escobar-Jaramillo, Gloria Oyarzabal, Hiro Tanaka, André Ramos-Woodard, Quinn Lum, Emilia Martin, KyeongJun Yang, Shinwook Kim, Akshay Mahajan, Yujie Zhou, Sasha Velichko, Yuxing Chen, Diana Cheren Nygren, Riti Sengupta, Lina Geoushy, Francesca Hummler, Yixi Tian, Minami Ivory, Yao Yuan, Kouta Takahashi.

Events include portfolio reviews with experts such as Adele Tan, Ang Song Nian, Brendan McCleary, Kim Sunyoung, Haeju Kim, Maarten Schilt, Natan Dvir, Serubiri Moses, Seok Jaehyun, Tanvi Mishra and more. In addition, seminars, masterclasses and workshops will take place during the festival, including the Fabulous Failures with Erik Kessels, The New Forest with Robert Zhao Renhui and the Photobook Clinic with Cheng Yinhe.
