Haute Photographie 2024

The four-day photo fair in Rotterdam, Netherlands, showcases photography from the past (vintage), the present (contemporary), and the future (emerging talents).

Overview

For the third time, Haute Rotterdam will take place in Het Keilepand, located in the new creative hub of the city and surrounded by inspiring initiatives during Rotterdam Art Week. The fair supports promising and talented artists with a platform to showcase their work amongst internationally renowned artists and galleries. As traditional art fairs have few opportunities for galleries to show unknown names, Haute has dedicated a special focus on emerging photographers, through the Haute Talent Programme and the European talent platform Fresh Eyes. This year, the work of four promising talents with a close relation to Rotterdam will be displayed: Sonja Mercedes, Ilse Natasja, Lotte Sinke, and Kyra Ten Brink.

Books and special editions play a significant role during the fair, with Artibooks - an online bookstore specializing in signed and rare photobooks - as the host of the bookmarket, displaying numerous independent publications from international photographers and works from renowned artists. The fair allows visitors to explore the latest books and discover various special editions. Additionally, GUP Magazine - a media platform publishing photography - will present an overview of its 17.5 years of publications.
